The other day, I learned a profound lesson. I preached a one sentence sermon, to myself :)
I was fixing the girls lunch. They were being impatient, and whining, (all morning), and I was getting so frustrated at them. I gave Becca her plate, and she took it to the table. I was holding Kimmi's plate, but because Becca had hers already, Kimmi assumed she didn't have one, or something, and she started throwing a fit, saying how she wanted some too....so I said to her, and I quote "If you would stop whining, and open your eyes, you would see that your needs are being met!"
Pretty profound huh?? How often do we overlook the simple blessings God gives us each day, how He is the supplier of all our needs, and if we would just keep quiet, not complain about what we don't have, then maybe we would see that we do have enough. We do have our needs being met.
Such a simple phrase, that I said to sorta get Kimmi out of her temper tantrum, has helped me to see things in a whole new perspective. And I am so thankful for that! (although, I don't always want to learn these lessons through the girls throwing tantrums) :)
Oh...I want to give you an update on my vertigo. I went to the Dr. and I have an ear infection in my deaf ear, and one started in my other ear, so she gave me an antibiotic for that, plus medicine for the vertigo, which is an inner ear problem..it's much better today, it got a little better yesterday, but I havn't really noticed it at all yet today. I'm so glad!!!!

My thoughts about life.
