A much needed rest

This past Sunday, a friend of mine from church, blessed me and the girls with a few days away at her family cabin. We really just needed to "get away" from things, and be able to relax...read...pray....play!!! It was sooo nice. The girls had a GREAT time, and I was able to really take the time to Listen to God, and not just read the Bible..but study it, which I don't get to take the time to do very often. (or at least as often as I should). The only thing I would have changed about the last few days is to have Kurt up there with us...he had to stay home :(

Today is my little baby Sister turned her sweet 16!! I cannot even believe it!! It seems like only yesterday we got to get out of school early, in 8th grade to go to the hospital and see her!! Wow!!!
