Some may have wondered, how I could let Becca's 6th Birthday come and go, and not blog about it....well....denial?? no...probably just the honest to goodness truth....havn't had time! Not a very good excuse, I know...but with being the Church Treasurer, and having to prepare financial reports, and year-end statements, and stuff, well, it get's kinda crazy. And, plus....surprise, surprise, the girls have been sick...AGAIN!!! AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!
Well, on her actual Birthday, (the 20th) we had a great family dinner, her request, Quesidillas by candlelight, fancy dishes and glasses...then we had cupcakes, and she opened her presents from us. Then we went out to 3 Crosses retreat center, and went swimming. We had the whole place to ourselves....pool, hot tub...it was great! Becca had a lot of fun.
Then on Sunday, after our Home Fellowship Groups, we had a party for her. Cake and Ice cream, some friends, and of course more presents. She said this was her best birthday ever! Im so glad....I just can't believe she is 6!!! Seems like only yesterday I was in the operating room, elated at the thought that we'd just had a little girl!!
