Once again...my blog police are on me for not posting frequently enough. Like, a cast on one leg, bronchitis, lung inflamation...hmmm, the computer crashed, were homeschooling, busy at church, and 2 very active daughters isn't enough to keep one occupied :)
Sooooo....we are doing okay. Despite what is going on for me health wise. Halloween was nice for the girls. We went to a harvest party at a church the next town over, and they played games, and had inflatable things to play in, etc. Kimmi had the most fun. I left early. Becca was content to just watch, instead of particpate, so her and I left early. We went with our friends, so the Dad's stayed with 1/2 of the kids, and us mom's came home with the other 1/2. Kimmi was looking out for her sister though, and got her some prizes and candy! That was too sweet!!
The girls are progressing very well in schooling. I am amazed at their progress. I'm very proud.
I can't believe this weather...it's so nice out! Yesterday, I didn't wear a coat, I had short sleeves and capri's on!! It's November!! lol....
This Saturday, for Pastor Appreciation, our congregation is sending us out to our local Retreat Center for a Date night. I'm so excited!! I can't wait to see what all is planned :)
Some funnies:
Becca just informed me that when she sneezes, and snot comes flying out, she has to wipe it with a wash cloth. hmmmm....interesting.
Kimmi told me the other day, when I pulled into our parking spot, & stopped rather abruptly, "Geez Mommy, you about gave me a heart attack"!! Where do they get this stuff?? ha ha ha
Becca told me this morning, that Kimmi was making her crazy, and proceeded to make the hand motion next to her head, you know...the twirling of your finger... lol...
Our friend Sharon took the girls on Sunday to the Nursing home in their costumes to visit with the elderly, and do some "trick or treating", and when they got home, Kimmi exclaimed rather excitedly, "We got to see all the Gramma's and Grampa's at the Nursery Home".... too funny!!
Well, that's about all my fuzzy codiene filled head can think of right now....

I don't see how you think any of those things are good excuses not to blog. You're sick at home with absolutely nothing to do but lay on the couch. I mean, really Kari, who are you kidding. Just joking. I know you are swamped. We just want to be kept up to date on what's going on. And really we just want to be entertained by having a new entry to read. It's all really selfish of us but we can't help ourselves.
I really do hope you are feeling better soon so you can get back to your regular feel good self. (and we can do some scrapbooking)
