I bet you thought I would NEVER blog again....
Or, possibly you just realized that long spans of time can go by, before I post, and you are just used to it, and quit checking, then today, out of the blue, you thought..ok..maybe, just maybe she finally posted, and TAH - DAH!! I did :) Surprise :)
I got a new job! I will be working at Angels Care Center, (aka Nursing Home) as an Activities person...um..yeah, I will get paid to...get this...play piano and sing to them! Um, paint their nails....oh yeah, and play Wii to help them with muscle use...yeah, great gig! I'm way excited!
The girls are both doing well.....did I mention that they tested academically above their grade levels?? We have been working on fractions lately though...& it's tricky..but they are getting there :) Kimmi is finally taking after her older sister, and reading chapter books...it's so wonderful to walk into a room, and see them both engrossed in a book, instead of the t.v.!
Kurt is doing well at his new job. He seems so much happier!! I'm proud of him, and the effort he puts forth day in and day out! I love him!!
*********Frustration warning**********
The trial for Tori has been moved...AGAIN!! I'm so disgusted! Now..it's the week before my best friends wedding....I'm so upset! Well, I was able to get out of testifying on Friday the 12th, I have to be there all day the 11th, and right back there Monday morning the 15th...the wedding is the 13th...did I mention it's in Michigan??????? My dear, dear friend, knowing that there was no way I was going to be able to pull that off, and almost couldn't be there at all..due to other circumstances, is flying me there Thurs. night, and back home Sunday night....I'm so blessed to have such a great friend!! It's a bummer that the girls can't come with, they are very disappointed, but there isn't any way financially, that I could swing 2 more tickets...granted, airfare is lower than I have seen it in forever..but still, not an option....
Sometimes, I let my emotions get the best of me, and spend money on things that I want, and feel I "need", but I'm learning...albeit, a little slowly, that in order to meet our goal of being Debt Free..there are sacrifices I have to make...and I really want us to be without any debt. It's totally possible...difficult, yes, but definately achievable! Dave Ramsey, he is a christian, who has books, shows, etc. and authored "The Total Money Makeover", and the testimonies from those that he has helped...wow...that's what Kurt and I want...and we are working fervently to achieve that goal...however, it's not gonna happen overnight...but Dave says: If you will live like no one else, later you can live like no one else!!

So....that's the update...I have some pictures to post, but now I have to go start dinner...I'll add them when I get a chance :)
