So...yeah, I hardly ever post anymore. Facebook..it's my downfall :) It's such a great site though. I've reconnected with so many people!! I love to hear what's going on in my friends lives, and seeing pictures of their families, and getting updates on them. It's a marvelous technology.
Things around here have been going along as usual. We are not done with school yet. Due to me being so sick, we've really not been doing full days..but I am not worried. The girls are both ahead academically, so I'm not stressing. We will continue on, and probably finish up near the end of June.
The weather has been amazing. I love summer! This also means I got my first sunburn. Tis the season :) I took the girls over to a lake nearby, and they had a great time! One thing I will miss about Cannon Falls is the local pool. We practically live there in the summertime. There is no outdoor pool around here :( However, the beach, which I referenced above, is really nice. There is a park, play area, sand play area, concessions, bathrooms and fishing! We have been there a few times already, to picnic and play, and it has been fun.
Kurt got to preach at church last Sunday. I am so proud of him. God sure has blessed that man of mine with the ability to share His word!! Also, we are now leaders of our LifeGroup. This is a group of people we have met with weekly, and were members of, and now it has "multiplied" and we are now leading. Our church has many of these groups, which I know I've shared about before..but we just LOVE our group!!
Ummmm, what else?? oh yeah, there are a few people I only know through blogs..but have really gotten to "know" them, and I am asking that if you would, please keep them in your prayers...mainly for healing! Nate T. , Stellan , Gage D. , Matt L. , and Kristie V. Thanks so much!
