I represented the bank at a breakfast this morning, honoring students at the local high school. These students were part of the "Excel Program". In order to be a part of this program, you had to earn it...with high grades, and less than 4 absences in 4 years. There were almost 50 kids being honored. I was very impressed. They must have had to work very hard to earn this "status", to be a part of this club...The commitment level they had to maintain, that's a big deal when you're a teenager! So, all in all, I guess it was worth getting up at the buttcrack of dawn for :)

I envy these students...their drive, their commitment. I hope that I strive for the things of God, like they strive to "Excel" in their studies.....
