Hello....another week has passed...all is quiet here on a Sunday night, just before bed. We had a nice weekend. The weather has been nice, except for a terrible wind, but Friday evening, we were able to take a walk down to the falls...even the dog came with us...it was fun!! Saturday, we did a little lounging in the morning, then went out to our Retreat center here in town, for an evening of Praise and Worship. The girls were very well behaved, and Kimmi even particpated a little!! Today after church, we went to a friends for lunch, did a little shopping with them, the girls got to play sidewalk chalk..then all Chaos broke out! I was watching Becca out the window, I was on the phone...and she is coming towards the door, crying...I look closer....and she is covered in blood...so this Mommy immediately starts to freak out...yet not trying to show panic to Becca runs outside..the dog gets out...I grab him with one hand...the phone with the other, becca runs into my arms...(duh...why am I still on the phone?)...I am asking over sobs what happened...the neighbor girl says she tagged Becca a little too hard, and she fell..then the neighbor girl starts to cry....I finally have enough sense to listen to what my friend on the phone is saying...to hang up, and call later...and then it hits....Becca sees the blood..........if you could only imagine the shreek that came out of this 5 year olds mouth....she starts shaking...and screaming..and crying...all the while I'm coaxing her into the bathroom...not having enough sense to block the mirror, in which she looks up and sees that her nose and mouth are both dripping with the red stuff.....I grab a washcloth...and finally...FINALLY get her to take some breaths...and get her cleaned off....the damage??? A really big, fat lip....a scrape on her cheek...I'm not quite sure about her front tooth...I'll be calling the dentist tomorrow...(which, by the way she is less than thrilled about).....and once she got all the blood off, and some ice for her lip..she was doing just fine...!! (of course, there were plenty of hugs, and tears from Mommy too)...!!!

Whew!!!!!!!!!!!! This could be a long Summer!!
