so, if you've tried to call me, sorry, my battery is dead, and I left my charger at the hospital, and it's been difficult getting over there to get it... Hopefully this evening I can go over there.
Okay, as always, another adventure abounds! I was admitted to the Hospital on Saturday night, I had severe abdominal pain, and some other issues, that are just too personal to post...long story short, they think I've got issues..lol..just kidding, we all know I have issues :) Actually, we are just waiting for the labs to come back to confirm that they believe I have a gluten allergy, lactose & fructose intolerance and irritable bowel syndrome :) Fun..fun...I know!!
I wanted to lose weight, so I guess this is one way to go about it! I will be meeting with a nutritionist to go over my new food life...it will be a challenge..I love food...but, if it helps me feel better, than I'm willing to try!
Thanks for the prayers...I've felt them this past week!! Now if we could just get some warmer temps...

God is very creative in His answer to our prayers sometimes. lol Well, while I don't think He put this on you, He will make it work for the good. I just found a great site "a year of crockpot cooking" and most of the recipes are gluten free. I've been experimenting with different flours also and have lots of info. I'll try to email you with the link.

The good thing about this diagnosis NOW instead of even 10 years ago, is that it's actually not that uncommon and there are HUNDREDS of recipes out there for you to try. You can still love food. Maybe even more so. You'll just have lots of new things to try!
